UW Data Science for Social Good projects have an applied social good dimension and broadly address questions related to social science, human services, public policy, environmental impacts, education, and urban informatics.

Since 2015, the eScience Institute has hosted a small number of projects for 10 weeks each summer to explore new ways that data science can be utilized for good in our communities.
