Yuan-Tang is a postdoctoral scholar in the Physics department and the NSF Accelerated AI Algorithms for Data-Driven Discovery (A3D3) Institute. He is currently a member of the ATLAS Collaboration since 2014. His work focuses on searching beyond standard model physics using data collected by the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. He also works on applying heterogeneous computing systems and machine learning in experimental high energy physics to accelerate reconstruction and improve physics performance.
