We are pleased to welcome Trisha Prasant as our Text Mining Student Specialist for the 2023-2024 academic year. Trisha is a graduate student in UW’s Master of Science in Data Science Program. Trisha has previously worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the iSchool and has experience with web scraping, data mining, and building machine learning and NLP models.

Trisha will be available for virtual text mining consultations by appointment. Appointments are available to all currently enrolled UW students, faculty, and staff and will be held via Zoom. Feel free to schedule an appointment whether you’re getting started with a text mining project or could use an extra pair of eyes troubleshooting a problem.
