Ghulam Murtaza is a postdoctoral researcher in the Noble Research Lab at the University of Washington, Department of Genome Sciences. Murtaza earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brown University, where he built graph-based deep-learning frameworks to predict chromatin structure from conventionally easier-to-obtain genomic data modalities such as gene expression, chromatin accessibility, histone modifications, and transcription factor binding profiles at both single and bulk cellular resolution.
