Fan Xia is a postdoctoral fellow at NACC. Her primary areas of interest including causal inference and cluster randomized trials, especially causal mediation analysis and stepped wedge designs. Causal mediation analysis aims to establish causal relationships and estimate
causal effects when multiple causal pathways exist. Stepped wedge designs are a type of contemporary cluster randomized trials that have been used to evaluate new interventions and programs deployed in the context of routine implementation.
