Open-Source Contributions 

We welcome contributions to our open-source projects! Here’s how you can get involved. 

Visit our GitHub to explore repositories or view our projects page to see what we’re working on. Contributions are welcome both before and after our involvement in a project. Please remember that our projects are supported by small teams of RSEs and scientists, and limit your contributions to the form of Pull Requests (PRs) on existing Issues, opening new Issues with detailed descriptions, or commenting on existing PRs and Issues. 

Before contributing, we expect that you will have reviewed the following: 

• RSE Guidelines for best practices. 

• Instructions for contributions on GitHub. 

Events 

We typically host 3-4 Research Software Engineering Meetups and other events throughout the year. Please visit our Luma page to learn more. You can also find out about eScience events and more by signing up for the newsletter at the bottom of the eScience Institute homepage.
