AWS offers access to a number of Foundation Models through its Bedrock service. This Cloud Clinic will demonstrate accessing the Claude LLM through the Bedrock service API to follow a thread of scientific inquiry. The storyline also makes use of Semantic Scholar, a free service available from the Allen Institute for AI. We also touch on programmatic access to GitHub and the meta-process of building projects such as the one demonstrated using an Agentic AI IDE called Kiro.
