Rachael Murray began working at the eScience Institute in 2018. As the Program Specialist she supports and executes many programs and events such as hackweeks, seminars, conferences and outreach events. She also leads the collection of metrics for program evaluation.
Rachael is from Seattle and studied biology for her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and is excited to be back at the UW. Prior to working at the eScience Institute, she worked at United Way of King County for four years and gained experience in program and event management, fundraising, and volunteer management.
Outside of work, Rachael volunteers as a board member of the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club. She also loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing, boating, backpacking and travel.
