Biography
Nicholas Nuechterlein is a Ph.D. student in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering. Nicholas’ research interests lie in applying large-scale, data-driven models to glioblastoma (GBM) data. He works on leveraging available medical imaging modalities and genomic data to predict survival length for patients with aggressive brain tumors.
He is also interested in distinguishing radiation-induced tissue damage in the brain from true GBM tumor progression as well as identifying features in advanced MR sequences that characterize the GBM tumor microenvironment.
