Kate Rich

Kate Rich is the eScience Institute’s Communications Manager responsible for maintaining the organization’s website, social media, and other digital communications channels. While leading eScience’s communications strategy, she writes about the latest research and news involving data science and AI in a weekly bulletin. She also produces creative content ranging from video series to annual report designs. Prior to joining the institute, she was a researcher studying the discourse surrounding artificial intelligence, as well as a speechwriting consultant. Kate received her PhD in Communication from the University of Washington with a certificate in Science, Technology, and Society Studies.
