My name is Suleeporn Sujichantararat, but you can call me Yui, which is my nickname. I am a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Washington, School of Medicine, in the Department of Radiology. I work under the supervision of Prof. Savannah C. Partridge in the Quantitative Breast Imaging (QBI) lab. I earned my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in January 2024.
My research focuses on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to enhance breast cancer surveillance and treatment. Breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide and the second leading cause of cancer-related death among women in the United States. I am primarily involved in two projects: (1) breast cancer risk prediction using MRI features and (2) synthesizing dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) breast MRI from non-contrast images.
