Kivan Polimis is the former program coordinator for the eScience Institute’s Data Science for Social Good, and he was also a participant in the inaugural 2015 cohort. His research focuses on health development and applying statistical techniques to investigate health disparities.
As a computational social scientist, he is interested in structural inequality, machine learning, and developing programming solutions to infrastructure problems in health care, transportation, and the legal system.
