Applied Mathematics

Kelsey Maass is a PhD student in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington, working with Aleksandr Aravkin (Applied Mathematics) and Minsun Kim (Radiation Oncology) on new applications of optimization and machine learning in the field of radiation oncology.
Kelsey has a B.A. in Mathematics from Azusa Pacific University and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington. She is also a member of the Big Data IGERT Fellowship program through the eScience Institute at the UW.
