Jenny Muilenburg is Data Management Librarian at the UW Libraries. She focuses on supporting the data needs of faculty and students, data management plan writing and guidance, data curation and archiving, and data repositories. Current areas of interest include how the increase in data science across the university environment affects library service. She is working on a review of DMPs written by UW researchers in order to create planning and writing tools to facilitate and improve the process.
Previously Jenny was GIS Librarian at UW, where she helped users from multiple departments acquire, extract and format data for use in their GIS projects. She holds a B.S. in journalism from the University of Illinois, and an M.S. in Information from the University of Michigan.
