IGERT Graduate Student – cohort 4
Biography
Chemical Engineering
Advisor: Lilo Pozzo
NIST Center for Neutron Research
Advisors: Craig Brown and Taner Yildirim
Caitlyn Wolf is a graduate student in Chemical Engineering and is part of the eScience Institute’s IGERT in Big Data and Data Science. Her project focuses on developing accurate force fields for conjugated polymers using molecular dynamics and scattering methods.
Additionally, machine learning will be applied to accelerate this process and optimize the force fields. This would allow for future in-silico discovery of better performing materials for organic electronic devices.
