Biography
April Lo is a PhD student studying genome sciences in the Berger lab at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She is broadly interested in analysis methods for genome sequencing data to better understand disease-causing mechanisms and pathways in cancer cells. Her project is on using RNA sequencing to dissect the effects of lung cancer genes and mutations at the gene expression level.
In her free time, she enjoys running, playing violin, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
