JAX bridges this g ap by offering a high‑performance\, NumPy‑like interface combined with automatic differentiation\, composable transformations\, and hardware acc eleration. This talk explores how JAX enables users to move seamlessly fro m mathematical ideas to efficient\, scalable computations with minimal cod e changes.\n\n \;\n\nSpeaker Bio: Ryan Hausen is a Research Software E ngineer at the Data Science and AI Institute at Johns Hopkins University. He received his PhD in Computer Science at the University of California\, Santa Cruz in 2022 where his research focused on developing novel machine learning approaches for large scale astronomical data.
