This lesson assumes you have basic experience with Git/Github (on the level of a Software Carpentry lesson: http://swcarpentry.github.io/git-novice/). We will briefly review introductory concepts, and will focus on exploring git history and collaborating using different workflows.Some topics which will be covered:
merging, branches, forks, collaboration workflows, navigating the git tree

Please arrive with a working installation of Git on your laptop (installation instructions can be found on the registration page). and Create a free GitHub account if you don’t already have one.
