Posted by billhowe | November 10, 2013
We are thrilled to announce a new 5-year partnership with UC Berkeley, NYU, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to build a distributed Data Science Environment to advance data science research and practice across all disciplines!
Join UW President Michael K. Young, UW Provost Ana Mari Cauce, UW Vice Provost for Research Mary Lidstrom, representatives of the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and your faculty and student colleagues from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Friday February 7 in Mary Gates Hall to find out how you can participate in and help shape this initiative! Contribute to a poster session and networking event featuring data science research from across the campus and from some of our regional collaborators! Be there! Find out more here!
